Los Alamos Creative District is designated by the New Mexico Arts and Cultural Districts. New Mexico adopted a statewide Arts and Cultural Districts program in 2007. The districts promote arts and culture as an enhancement to local economies and quality of life. The districts are a collaboration between:

Los Alamos has the only "Creative" Arts & Cultural District in the state. Los Alamos is designated as "creative" to highlight arts, culture, and science in our downtown.
